Battle at BCA
By Jason Mears
Sometimes Mother Nature just doesn’t cooperate with our hunting plans. Several Apparition Scents Field Team Members along with friends and family recently traveled to Adams County, OH to Brush Creek Adventures owned by Ace Dennison and Apparition Scents Field Team Member Greg Dennison. The weather wasn’t favorable from the get go as temps reached 80ºF and then turned to 20-25mph winds for the majority of the week. The tornado warning, rain, and constant high winds didn’t make things any easier. In spite of the weather, Apparition Scents and team were able to take 3 bucks and 4 doe over a 5 day period. A few pictures from the hunt are shown below.

BCA of Ohio runs a great operation with over 3000 acres of hunting land containing a strong deer herd with many mature whitetail bucks. Apparition Scents will surely revisit Adams County, OH in the future with hopes of better weather and another successful hunt.
